For David & Susan Cooper their lot in Angel Fire was a true get-away. For many years they traveled to Angel Fire to sit and picnic at the site where their home now sits. We met Carol and James Galloway touring our last spec home in 2010. They loved the layout and design of the home, and had searched for their perfect lot for months until they settled on one that gave them the view of Wheeler Peak and also filled the easy access criteria.

A fusion of disparate elements – log and stucco exteriors – blended flawlessly. This home belongs in the mountains. Interior living space flows effortlessly outward onto the land. Angel Fire Homes is proud to present the Gonzalez home. Owners Rosendo and Linda Gonzalez brought this unique southwest home to life after several years of careful planning. Linda had in her mind the finished product from the beginning, and guided us through every detail. This home is very different from the typical mountain cabin in many ways.

Looking out over the 10th green, the home offers 3,000 sq. ft. on a single level. The home has in floor radiant heat, as well as forced air heat, air conditioning (very rare in Angel Fire) and whole house humidification. All the custom features work together to create a relaxing atmosphere where family can enjoy a beautiful mountain retreat.

Raised in the Sierra Nevada’s of Northern California, I am no stranger to mountain living. My family and I love all the outdoor life Angel Fire has to offer.

I first fell in love with the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in 1997 when I moved to the area to follow a career in Juvenile Justice and Rehabilitation. I found a stronger calling with my hands, in construction. I started in construction with a shovel in my hand and slowly worked my way up. As a I learned the skills of the trade, I became the builder I am today.

Whether it’s white water rafting, wake boarding or riding dirt bikes in the summer to hunting, mountain biking or fishing in the fall to snowmobiling, skiing or snowboarding in the winter, we love to do all Northern New Mexico has to offer. We’ve made our mark on the mountains!
